QPR suffered their fifth loss in their last six games as Huddersfield Town beat them 2-0 at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.

Mark Warburton's side have won just twice since the turn of the year and their misery continued on Saturday.

Ebere Eze looked bright early on and like he may be able to put them in the driving seat but he was unable to provide Jonas Lossl with too much of a test.

Huddersfield took the lead 12 minutes after the break through Elias Kachunga, who rose highest to head in Harry Toffolo's cross.

Four minutes later, the hosts doubled their lead as Steve Mounie fired in his sixth goal of the season from the penalty spot.

QPR were unable to provide a response and slipped to their third consecutive Championship defeat.

They now sit 17th in the table, 12 points back from the top six and nine points above the drop zone.

Mark Warburton's side travel to face Swansea City in midweek and with that in mind, here are two things that QPR must address after the loss to Huddersfield...

Their current goal-scoring issues

The exit of Nahki Wells was always going to be a difficult one to deal with for QPR but one thing is for sure, things are just not working for them in the final third right now.

The R's have scored just four times in their last six games and suffered five defeats during that run.

Jordan Hugill has stepped in to replace Wells and though he hasn't been in great form, the fault is not entirely his as the goals seem to have dried up throughout the side.

Warburton needs to do something to spark his men to life in the attacking third, whether that's a change in personnel or formation, or something else entirely.

Their fragility in the centre of the park

Central midfield has been something of a problem area all season and so it proved again at the John Smith's Stadium.

Huddersfield dominated that area on Saturday, with Luke Amos and Dominic Ball offering their little in terms of control from midfield.

QPR need to address this issue quickly because their fragility in midfield has been a key factor in their slide down the Championship table.
