Leeds United are reportedly looking into securing the signing of Hoffenheim midfielder Steven Zuber according to BILD, as they look to add depth to their attacking options this month.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are currently sat top of the Championship, and they have been fully deserving of occupying top spot heading into the New Year.

It's even more impressive given that Leeds have had a number of injuries to first-team players, and the injury list doesn't seem to be getting smaller anytime soon.

So, Zuber's arrival would be a welcome addition for the Whites and could be the perfect player to fill the void left by Samuel Saiz, who departed for Spanish side Getafe at the start of the transfer window.

Zuber has experience of playing in the Champions league with Hoffenheim and is also represents Switzerland on a regular basis, so he would add some much-needed experience to a Leeds side, that has been heavily reliant on academy players this season.

But what facts will Leeds fans not be aware of about Zuber?

Find out here....

He has already made his mark against Leeds

Zuber emerged as a target that the majority of Leeds supporters won't have heard of, but they will immediately remember who he is after recalling this memory.

Zuber has already scored against Leeds in a pre-season friendly in 2015 where he turned out for German side Hoffenheim in a 2-1 win over the Whites.

Zuber is a proven winner so far in his career

The winger would have no trouble in fitting in with the Leeds side that are staking a strong claim for the Championship title.

He has already played a part in the Zenit squad that won the Russian Premier League and Russian Super Cup in the 2013/2014.

Zuber has also won the Swiss Cup with Grasshopper earlier in his career, so he would be full of confidence of building on that success with a Leeds side that have a serious chance in gaining promotion this year.
