The Robins will be looking to continue their excellent unbeaten run that has stretched since August as they take on Luton Town at Kenilworth Road this Saturday.

On paper, Lee Johnson’s squad looks very impressive. There is a mix of experienced heads, impressive new signings and youth prospects.

The Bristol City boss will be hoping that his side can all combine together against The Hatters so that their playoff ambitions don’t take a dent against the Bedfordshire side.

The recruitment at City has been a notable positive over the past few seasons, investing in young players from across continental Europe as well as ex-Premier League academy products such as Tomas Kalas and Kasey Palmer.

We look at two young talents that have already shown signs that they are ready to fight to become a regular fixture on the team sheet, and whether they can keep producing the goods.

Han-Noah Massengo

Bristol City could have a star on their hands, and will be hoping to help with his development by continuing to give the Frenchman first-team minutes.

The 18-year-old Massengo was signed in the summer from Ligue 1 side Monaco, for a fee of £2.7 million, and has already made 8 appearances for The Robins in midfield. He also put on a man-of-the-match display in the 0-0 draw against Swansea City.

He is capped by France at Under-19 level, and it has been reported that Arsenal have sent scouts to Ashton Gate to analyse the youngster. City might have a fight on their hands to keep him.

Antoine Semenyo

The 19-year-old attacker had a fruitful spell on loan at League Two outfit Newport County last season, helping the Michael Flynn's side to reach the final of the playoffs.

Semenyo found the net six times in 32 appearances for the Exiles, and signed a new long-term contract in July, keeping him at Ashton Gate until 2023.

Lee Johnson has put his faith in the youngster this campaign, as Semenyo has made 6 appearances in the 2019-10 Championship.
