Swansea boss Graham Potter faces a potential selection dilemma ahead of his side's clash against Norwich City this weekend.

The Swans are set to be without midfielder Tom Carroll, who has been ruled out of action with a hip injury.

News of Carroll's injury will come as a huge blow to Swansea supporters, many of whom would have been keen to see Carroll provide the creative spark for Potter's side going forward.

Carroll's last competitive game for the Swans was against Blackburn Rovers in October and Potter will be hoping that he can return to action as quickly as possible to help aid their promotion bid this season.

Swansea are currently eighth in the Championship table and more importantly, they are just two points behind Derby who occupy the last play-off spot.

But who could be in line to step into the Swansea midfield with Carroll still absent?

Find out here....

The 19-year-old has only made one start this season, but is well remembered amongst Swansea supporters for scoring against Sheffield United on his debut for the club.

Dhanda could be tempted to stake a claim for a spot in central midfield alongside the likes of Leroy Fer and Jay Fulton this weekend.

His creativity would add something different to a central area, although it's highly unlikely Potter will take this route.

Grimes has been used as a makeshift left-back for large parts of this season, but he could be moved into a more natural central-midfield role this weekend.

Other options are returning at full-back, meaning Grimes can offer his service in a central position.
