Leeds fans have a nervous wait in January with recent reports emerging from Italy that Palermo are reportedly interested in signing Kemar Roofe.

According to Italian media outlet, BlogSicilia, Palermo are weighing up the possibility of making an offer to the Whites in the hope they can secure a deal for the forward.

Roofe has been in impressive form for Marcelo Bielsa's side this season and is the club's top goalscorer with 10 league goals already.

His good run of form has already seen him linked with some Premier League sides, whilst European interest now looks to be flooding in.

If the forward does leave for Palermo in January, then Bielsa will have to act fast in finding a replacement for the striker who has been one of the main reasons as to why Leeds are challenging for promotion this season.

So, who should the Leeds boss be eyeing a deal for in January as Roofe's replacement?

Find out here.....

Assombalonga could be on the way out of Middlesbrough in January as Tony Pulis looks to trim the wage bill at the club.

The forward is proven in the Championship and would be the perfect replacement for Kemar Roofe if he was to depart Elland Road.

Assombalonga already has six goals to his name this season, but has struggled for regular game time at Boro in recent weeks due to the good form shown by Jordan Hugill.

The Wolves forward can feel hard done by this season with a lack of game time in the Premier League a real concern for Bonatini.

He is yet to make a league start for Wolves this season and will be keen to get regular playing time under his belt in the near future, particularly with the January transfer window edging ever-closer.

Bonatini is a proven goalscorer in the Championship and would be an excellent addition to Bielsa's side going forward this season.
