Queens Park Rangers have began the 2016/17 season off on an average note, with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s team lying 13th in the Sky Bet Championship table.
They currently have fifteen points from eleven matches, with four wins, three draws and four losses coming from the opening few months of the season.
QPR’s lacklustre start to the campaign is mostly down to the lack of goals coming from the attacking front. The Loftus Road side have scored 14 goals this season, that is on average only 1.2 goals a game.
Tjaronn Chery is their top goal-scorer having hit the net on four occasions, while German Sebastian Polter is the highest-scoring striker at QPR with just three goals.
If they want to challenge the top-six, then they will definitely need to sign one or two new strikers in January.
