Things have not been going quite to plan for Alex Neil and his Norwich City side this season, with the club sitting down in 9th place and 5 points off the top six spots.

The Scottish manager has often found himself fighting for his job and defending his position and players, but all is not lost for the Canaries if they can just manage to put a run together.

A convincing win over Derby at weekend showed the squad is good enough on its day, and if Neil can add a few names to the ranks in the January window, then they could well find themselves back among the top six come May.

One position to strengthen will be up front, where despite a Nelson Oliveira hat-trick at the weekend, Norwich really could do with more firepower in the striking department.

With that thought in mind, we take a look at TWO strikers Norwich City should look to seal a deal for this month...

Sam Winnall

If Norwich want a man who simply knows where the back of the net is, then they need not look any further than Barnsley man Sam Winnall.

The former Scunthorpe man is once again in lethal form, and he has proven consistently he knows where the back of the net is.

Barnsley would no doubt want a fee for the hit man, but with the money Norwich have in the coffers, it should not be too much of an issue.

Jerome Sinclair

A more risky option for the Canaries would be to sign former Liverpool and current Watford striker Jerome Sinclair.

Much was expected of Sinclair when he broke into the Liverpool team, but after moving on in the summer, he has not done anything of note yet.

Sinclair simply needs to play games, and Norwich could give him that platform to go and prove himself on. He would be better as a loan signing, but he would be a low risk one with a potential high reward for the club.

Norwich fans, what do you think? Would you take these two? Let us know!
