Stoke City are gearing up for a busy summer in the transfer market.

After finishing in 15th position last term the focus this term was on consolidating their spot in the Championship while showing shades of improvement.

As it stands it seems that Michael O'Neill's are set for a mid-table finish in the second tier, but next term expectations will surely be higher.

Supporters want to see the Potters challenging for promotion but if they're going to do that they'll need to make room for some new arrivals.

That means that some high-profile players could be moved on to free up some of the wage budget.

With that in mind here are two players who could be allowed to leave the Bet365 Stadium at the end of the season.

Tom Ince

The winger looks like he could be heading for the exit door this summer.

While Ince still has another year left on his contract it seems that he's fallen down the pecking order under Michael O'Neill after making just seven appearances for the club in the first half of the season before being shipped out on loan to Luton Town.

Given his wages it could be difficult to move him on, but if they can free up some funds then it will certainly bode well for the club's recruitment plans next term.

Lee Gregory

Another player who may well have played his last game for Stoke City.

Despite being a first team regular last term Gregory made just nine appearances for the Potters in the first half of the season before joining Derby County on loan in January.

Wayne Rooney has been really impressed by the player and so it would be no surprise to see him move on with the Rams a potential destination.
