Stoke City will be looking to make it three wins in a row on Saturday afternoon, when they host Peterborough United at the Bet365 Stadium.

The Potters go into the game sixth in the Championship table, and will be looking to cement their place in the top six with victory over Posh here.

But with Peterborough currently battling at the wrong end of the standings, the visitors will no doubt be keen to make life hard for in this one.

So with that in mind, we've taken a look at two dilemmas facing Stoke manager Michael O'Neill going into this game, right here.

Who replaces Harry Souttar?

Stoke City suffered a major blow over the November international break, following a major setback for Harry Souttar.

The influential centre back suffered an ACL injury while playing for Australia in a World Cup qualifier, an injury that now looks set to keep him out for the rest of the season.

Souttar obviously needs to be replaced in the Potters' back line, but given how important and impressive he has been for the club in recent times, it could be crucial for Stoke's play-off hopes that O'Neill can get a similar sort of contribution from another of his defenders moving forward.

Can they get the goals to lay down a marker

Given Peterborough's somewhat precarious position in the Championship table at this moment in time, this could be seen as an opportunity for Stoke to make a real statement of intent.

However, given they have scored fewer league goals (22) than any other side in the top seven of the current standings, and with joint top scorer Nick Powell out through injury, that could be something of a tricky task for them.

It will therefore be interesting to see what O'Neill is able to get out of the rest of his attacking options, while also remembering the threat that Peterborough themselves can cause in attack.
