Leeds United look on the cusp of promotion back to the Premier League for the first time since their relegation in 2004.

Marcelo Bielsa has often been famed for his tendency to oversee a team that has ‘burnout’ at this stage of the season, but Leeds are showing no signs of slowing down.

In fact, they are doing the opposite, with two outstanding victories over play-off hopefuls Bristol City and relegation scrappers Reading, who came into that game on the back of two dramatic wins.

It’s not time to start planning for the Premier League yet, but we think Leeds’ hierarchy may have one eye on potential targets.

Here, we look at two players we think they must be monitoring ahead of potential summer transfers.

Do you agree, or can you think of another player that you think they should try to sign at the end of this season? Let us know in the comments section below.

Fabian Delph

Fabian Delph has hardly featured for Manchester City this season, and a move seems a certainty this summer, given the form of young full back Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Leeds would be a perfect fit for Delph if they were promoted. He is versatile, great on the ball, has good leadership traits and would be moving back to his boyhood club.

Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen has been one of the best players in the Championship this season, and certainly Hull’s biggest asset.

The youngster has been linked with some of the big clubs, but a move to a club of Leeds’ stature, where he would start every week, seems more fitting.
