We are entering the business end of the Sky Bet Championship season, with still plenty to play for at both ends of the table.

Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End faced each other at the Macron Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with both those clubs still having plenty of play for at opposite ends of the table heading into the final 11 fixtures of the season.

It was Alex Neil’s Preston that picked up a vital three points, which has kept their play-off hopes alive, whilst also handing Bolton a timely reminder that relegation is still a real possibility.

Preston’s hero was Sean Maguire, who was making his return from injury off the bench in Bolton, scoring twice late on to secure a 3-1 victory for the Lilywhites.

Here at FLW, we take a look at some of the numbers behind Maguire’s sensational impact:

Maguire featured for 25 minutes on Saturday, scoring twice from his two shots at goal.

The 23-year-old was a menace to Bolton following his introduction, winning two aerial duels and two free kicks during his cameo.

Added to that, Maguire’s impact is also highlighted with the two dribbles he attempted against a tiring Bolton defence.
