Sheffield United will be gearing up for the biggest game of their season at the moment as they take on Wednesday on Friday night.

Though the Blades would like to think they'll have bigger games in terms of the play-offs to come, they certainly need to try and win this game to get themselves back onto a winning run of form.

For sure, the 4-2 win earlier this season over the Owls highlighted how good the Blades can be and that they are capable of challenging at the top so channeling that is a must.

Chris Wilder will have been drumming into his players the importance of this game, meanwhile, and so it should be a feisty clash between two sides needing a win.

With that in mind, then, here are two players we feel Wilder must play in order to get the three points...

 Ryan Leonard

United had been chasing Leonard for a long time and they finally got the deal over the line earlier this week.

He is clearly seen as someone that can improve the side by Chris Wilder and so maybe he should be given the nod for this game.

Yes, it'll be a real test of his mettle early on in his Blades career but a good performance here could immediately get the fans onside.

 Leon Clarke

The striker has been in great form this season and was a real pain in the neck for the Owls earlier this season in the 4-2 win.

He'll be looking to add to that in this game, then, and Chris Wilder will be doing all he can to gee him up to his best possible level.

The game might just be decided on how Clarke performs on the night.
