Sheffield United will be wishing the international break hadn't arrived. They were forced into a two-week break after hammering Aston Villa 4-1, but have now gone two games without a goal.

The 0-0 draw with Birmingham City disappointed some Blades fans, but Garry Monk's side are well organised in shutting teams out. There's little reason to panic and, aside from the striker issue, there's no reason to think the Blades are on shaky ground.

They've put the disappointment of a poor start behind them to keep in touch with the early leaders, something Blades fans hoped to see after a strong season last time out.

If they keep on the same track and continue to impress, they could find themselves the subject of winter raids by other sides. They sold David Brooks this summer, but he isn't the only player currently plying his trade at Bramall Lane that might be ripe for the take.

FLW looks at two Sheffield United players we expect Chris Wilder is worried about losing in January. The 24-year old centre back is already on course to play 40+ games for the Blades as he has done for the last two seasons and as his experience grows, so does his ability.

He looks more comfortable and composed with every game. His current pass success rate is 81% and he wins almost five aerial duels per game.

With centre backs in high demand right now, he could find himself the focus of fresh speculation, despite the new deal he signed in November 2017.

Fleck is another who signed a new deal last season and he's become a mainstay of the Blades midfield.

He has that experience from Rangers though and the longer he remains in Wilder's first team, the more he impresses.

At 27-years old he's in his prime and come January, a desperate Premier League club might be looking for a cut price midfielder to solidify their midfield. Wilder won't want to lose the Scot.
