Sheffield United have made a mightily impressive start to their 2018/19 Championship campaign.

Chris Wilder's men have recovered well from an early setback of two defeats, winning all of their last four league games.

The Blades, who finished in a respectable 10th place following their return to the second tier last term, will be once again looking to form another playoff push again this time around, and they definitely have the squad to do just that.

United travel to another in-form team, Bristol City, at the weekend, in the hope of extending their winning run to five games in a row, after being interrupted by a short international break.

It has been a summer of transition at Bramall Lane however, and although the Blades have made a fine start to proceedings, they aren't the finished article just yet...

Here, we take a look at two decisions that could come back to haunt Sheffield United...

After what was a magnificent campaign for personal reasons last term, former Blades playmaker David Brooks inevitably departed Bramall Lane for Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth in the summer, for a reported fee of £10million.

Whilst the income and sell-on clauses from Brooks' sale may have been too much to turn down for the Blades, they may live to regret losing his skill and flair in the attacking side of their game.

Although matters on the pitch are very positive and calm, matters off the pitch are believed to be much, much worse.

Long-serving club chairman Kevin McCabe and new investor Prince Abdullah are at war with each other and have been in numerous court battles regarding the ownership of the club, and if things remain fragile off the pitch, this could have detrimental impacts on Wilder's future transfer business, as well as other things surrounding the club.
