Cardiff City will be looking to give their play-off hopes a further boost by continuing their solid run of form when they travel to face Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluebirds have now avoided defeat in each of their last seven Championship matches following the 6-1 defeat to QPR, with Neil Harris' side having now climbed up to within three points of the top six following this strong run.

Cardiff have now collected seven points from their last three matches following wins over Luton and Huddersfield in addition to last weekend's draw with Wigan, and this means the South Wales outfit have now entered the play-off conversation this term.

It seems unlikely Harris will be looking to make many changes to his starting line-up following Cardiff's fine form of late, but there are still a couple of potential changes he may be mulling over ahead of the difficult trip to Stoke this weekend.

Here, we look at two tweaks Harris may be thinking about...

Joe Ralls

Ralls was one of Cardiff's most important players during the early part of the season under former boss Neil Warnock, but injuries mean he has only managed to play the full 90 minutes on one occasion since Harris' arrival in November.

However, WalesOnline are reporting that the midfielder will be available to feature during the Bluebirds' trip to Stoke over the weekend, and Harris may be tempted to thrust Ralls straight back into the starting line-up given the quality he can bring.

This would be a bold move given Marlon Pack and Will Vaulks have been performing well together in recent weeks, but there can be no doubt that Ralls brings an extra dimension to Cardiff's midfield, and Harris will definitely be weighing up his options.

Leandro Bacuna

Bacuna was surprisingly introduced in place of Joe Bennett at half-time during the 2-2 draw with Wigan last weekend, with Bacuna then filling in at right-back during the second half despite this not being his natural midfield position.

Harris confirmed to WalesOnline that the decision to remove Bennett at the interval was neither a tactical or enforced change, with the Cardiff boss clearly feeling his side had a better chance of winning the game with Bacuna at right-back.

This explanation suggests Harris might consider the possibility of dropping Bennett from the starting line-up for the Stoke trip, and this could lead to a start for either Bacuna or Wolves loanee Dion Sanderson who can play in the centre or on the flank.
