Queens Park Rangers prepare to face Blackburn this weekend in a clash between two teams who have exceeded expectation this season.

Blackburn have settled in to Championship football nicely following their promotion last season and they'll take heart from their recent result against Leeds United.

QPR has done exceedingly well, especially after an atrocious start that saw some questioning Steve McClaren's appointment before he'd served a month.

He's now alleviated those concerns by putting together a robust and organised side which may not tear teams apart, but should be functional enough to avoid a relegation scrap as the season develops.

That would be helped by three points against Tony Mowbray's side, but McClaren has a couple of selection headaches ahead of the game. We look at two of them here.  Geoff Cameron, the midfielder on loan from Stoke City, is rated as 50/50 to make the game.

That means a fight for the right to partner Massimo Luongo in the Hoops midfield.

It might mean a start for Jordan Cousins, who has been on and off the bench for most of the season. With no other injury concerns the big question is who starts up front?

Hemed and Wells seem to be rotated on a game by game basis, but Hemed has more goals and will surely get the bod.
