Charlton put in a brave performance against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground to take all three points back to south London on Tuesday night, as the Addicks triumphed 1-0.

Lyle Taylor's 9th goal of the season in the 24th minute of the contest was enough to separate the teams, as the Addicks held on to keep Sabri Lamouchi's side at bay and secure a crucial victory in their bid to avoid the drop.

It was Charlton's first away win in the Championship since the end of August, making it more significant.

One player that stood up and was counted was Addicks goalkeeper Dillon Phillips, who kept a vital clean sheet for Lee Bowyer's side.

Here are the stats behind the 24-year-old's impressive showing for Charlton at the City Ground...

The Charlton academy graduate has played every league game this season for the club in goal, and has stepped up his game in recent weeks.

The clean sheet against Nottingham Forest takes his league tally for the season to six, and it is his second shut-out in four matches for the Addicks.

That represents a big contrast to earlier in the season, when the side failed to keep a clean sheet from mid-October all the way until the middle of January.

Despite that, Phillips was once again key to Charlton's success, with two key saves during the game, and one claim in addition to that from close-range.

The 24-year-old also won an aerial duel, showing his presence in the Charlton's penalty area.

Question marks have been raised previously about the stopper's distribution from long goal kicks, and that may still be an issue as his passing accuracy was below par at 61%.

Regardless, Phillips did what he needed to do during the course of the evening, and another clean sheet to add to his total will give him confidence going into this Saturday's game against Blackburn at The Valley in front of a sellout crowd.
