Rotherham United are preparing for a big summer.

The Millers have plenty to play for between now and the end of the season with their place in the Championship currently in jeopardy.

As it stands Paul Warne's side are sitting in 22nd position in the table and three points from safety, however with four games in hand it seems that the South Yorkshire side's future is very much in their own hands.

Staying in the Championship could be vital when it comes to keeping their best players this summer with a handful of players facing uncertain futures at the club.

Here are two players who could be eyeing a move away from the New York Stadium this summer.

Matt Olusunde

The full-back faces an uncertain future with his contract due to expire in the summer.

Olusunde has been a key player for Rotherham United but with his deal coming to an end it seems that his future may well depend on what league the club find themselves in.

If the Millers get relegated then he may well hold out for a contract offer in the Championship.

Michael Smith

The forward has been one of Rotherham United's best players this term.

Smith has scored nine times for the club so far this season but with just over a year remaining on his contract it means that interest could be high in his services this term.

It could be the Millers' last chance to cash in on the player and so it'll be interesting to see what happens in the coming months.
