West Brom manager Darren Moore could be in line for a new deal at The Hawthorns, with the Mirror reporting that the Albion hierarchy want to reward him for the work he has done so far.

The former player landed the job on a permanent basis in the summer after an impressive spell as caretaker. And, he has continued his good work with the Baggies in the Championship.

They are firmly in the hunt for automatic promotion and the 44-year-old has also importantly changed the style of play.

Albion have been a joy to watch at times this season, with Moore's men the top scorers in the division.

Therefore, news of a potential new deal will surely delight Baggies supporters and it will give the club a chance to look to the long-term under the former player.

And, here we look at TWO reasons why an extended contract would be fully deserved...

He's changed the atmosphere around the club

The way the club feels now is in complete contrast to their final few years in the Premier League.

The fans were understandably angry and there was a real disconnect between them and the players.

West Brom supporters would only have to look down the road to rivals Wolves to see how that can cause problems further down the line.

But, Moore hasn changed the mood with his fresh ideas and more adventurous approach.

He is building for the future

Another positive aspect of Moore is how he has given youth a chance.

The FA Cup defeat to Brighton in the week gave fans a glimpse into the future and they would've been excited at the players on show.

Rekeem Harper has forced his way into the team recently and there are many more on the fringes.

Moore has one eye on the future and it looks promising.
