Bradley Dack has been in mercurial form for Blackburn Rovers this term after their promotion back to the Championship.

The 24-year-old attack has scored eight goals in ten appearances coming off the back of 18 goals in 45 games last term.

That form saw him become the club’s top scorer in their promotion campaign his continued impressive form has seen interest in the player rise.

West Bromwich Albion are reported to hold an interest in the midfielder and are preparing a £20million swoop for the former Gillingham man come January, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (07/10; page 60).

So, we here at FLW took to Twitter to ask Blackburn fans if they felt their talismanic attacker was worth the reported fee.

The decision was unanimous in favour of no - he is not worth that kind of money.

A whopping 72 per cent of the vote were in agreement that the figures relating to his value are out of proportion.

And with that said, here are two reasons as to why the Blackburn supporters are wrong in their belief that Dack is not worth £20million.

Being that Bradley Dack is English, that automatically hikes his price up. It is as simple as.

Players who have the ability that the Blackburn man have are hard to come by, and the fact he is English-born makes him an even more precious commodity.

If Dack was from a country that has less of a spotlight on its footballing leagues, then he might be worth a hell of a lot less.

But the fact he was in mercurial form in League One hand has integrated seamlessly into the Championship, it proves he is not a one-season wonder and can carry his form on for the long-term.

Bradley Dack is still only 24-years-old and, having already alluded to his form for Blackburn, he has been consistent for the past four seasons.

During his time at Gillingham and now at his current club, he has scored goals from midfield - something that is a desirable attribute and is in short demand.

Clubs will pay a premium for a goalscorer and will do the same for a player who can get ten-plus goals from the middle of the park.

Dack plays in an attacking role, even if he was pushed deeper he would still influence a match.

This makes the Blackburn man a valuable asset and considering his age, still has huge potential.

Clubs now take that into account when structuring a deal for a player.
