Carrow Road is the venue this weekend when Norwich City take on Stoke City in the Championship.

In what is the final fixture before the second international break of the season, the two sides are separated by 11 places and five points.

The division is as tight as ever with Norwich occupying fifth spot ahead of the clash, while Gary Rowett’s men are in 16th.

Daniel Farke’s team are unbeaten in six matches and registered a draw against Derby last time out having been a goal to the good late on.

Stoke, meanwhile, are coming off the back of a comprehensive win over Bolton Wanderers a the Bet365 Stadium.

Ahead of the match, Sky Sports turned to David Prutton to offer his prediction on the encounter.

The pundit predicted a narrow 1-0 win for the home side to extend their run without defeat to seven matches heading into the two-week break.

It will no doubt be a competitive match, as are most in the second-tier.

And with that said, here are two reasons why Prutton’s Norwich v Stoke prediction is only somewhat accurate.

Gary Rowett’s men have yet to win away from home this season, and Prutton is predicting a loss for the Potters, but it is only somewhat accurate, as the scoreline flatters the visitors.

Stoke have conceded 11 goals away from home this term and have the sixth worst record on their travels in the division.

To think this one will finish just 1-0 is a little understated.

Despite not scoring in his last two matches, the Finland international assisted the Canaries’ opener in the Derby draw in midweek.

He will be raring to go at Carrow Road to add to his seven goals this term against a Stoke side who have been indifferent this season.

Stoke's erratic form coupled with Pukki’s short drought could be the perfect storm for the 28-year-old to add to his tally.

The 1-0 prediction is potentially accurate regarding the overall result, but the scoreline could be much more than just a single goal the way these two teams are currently performing.
