2 reasons why Leeds United can genuinely challenge for the 17/18 Championship title

After coming so close to clinching a play-off place last season Leeds United will be desperate to go one step further this season, and maybe even dream about an automatic place. 

Despite the surprising departure of Garry Monk at the beginning of June, the Whites have quickly appointed a new manager in Thomas Christiansen, owner Andrea Radrizzani has bought back Elland Road and new players are starting to join the club meaning there is a reason to be optimistic if you are a Leeds fan.

New manager Thomas Christiansen is something of an unknown quantity, but with the backing of Radrizzani and the fans who knows what heights the new boss can take The Whites to this season.

It goes without saying that Leeds are one of the few clubs in the Championship that belongs in the Premier League, along with the likes of Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday, and with their talented squad there is no reason why they cannot challenge for the 17/18 Championship title this season.
