Leeds United are one of a host of clubs keen on doing a deal for talented young Fulham midfielder Matt O'Riley.

The 18-year-old, who has played for England at various youth levels, is said to be attracting interest from Celtic, Rangers, Leeds and Norwich, according to Sky Sports.

The report also states that Bundesliga trio Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also monitoring the teenager.

Despite his undoubted potential, O'Riley has found it tough to break into the Fulham time and so far has only managed a brief sub appearance in the League Cup this season.

Therefore, he may be open to a move as he looks to start playing regularly.

Even though it will be tough for Leeds to see off competition from some very big clubs, we look at TWO reasons why they need to go all-out for the youngster and make sure he ends up at Elland Road...

He's a Bielsa type player

The Whites boss has a clear style of play and looks to get his side playing high-intensity, fast, attacking football.

It's exactly what any technical midfielder would want and O'Riley will be no different.

At his age, it's important the Fulham man finds a coach that can help his development and Bielsa is the right man to do so.

He has great potential

The other reason Leeds should be desperate to close a deal for O'Riley is pretty simple - he could become a real quality player.

Over the past few windows there has been a real focus at the Yorkshire club and bringing in talented youngsters and he will follow that strategy too.
