West Bromwich Albion welcome Leeds United to the Hawthorns this weekend for one of the Championship’s standout fixtures.

Leeds head to the Midlands having picked up seven points from the last nine available to them, whilst West Brom are without a win in four, having lost three of those four fixtures.

Darren Moore’s side have fallen out of the play-off places as a result of those dropped points, but Pablo Hernandez has recognised their talent, admitting to @LUFC that he expects the Baggies to be challenging for a Premier League return come the end of the season.

“They're a good team, they've kept a lot of players from last year. I'm sure in the end they'll be fighting for the Premier League.”

The 33-year-old has been amongst Leeds’ top performers this season, scoring four goals and registering four assists to help Marcelo Bielsa’s side into promotion contention.

However, Hernandez is clearly wary of the threat that West Brom pose, making a very encouraging prediction about Moore’s side.

Here’s a look at TWO reasons why he’s right to say the Baggies will be challenging for the Premier League…

Dwight Gayle has been missing in recent weeks, with West Brom not looking the same without their eight-goal striker.

Keeping him fit and in the team alongside Jay Rodriguez, who also has eight goals to his name this season, is going to be key.

With those two in the side anything is possible and most feel they could fire the Baggies to promotion.

Moore might be feeling the heat after four fixtures without a victory, but there is no denying his ability as a head-coach.

Even taking over a struggling Premier League side Moore showed his quality, and on occasions this year, his side have looked a class above.

He’s a good young coach whose fresh ideas could take the Baggies all the way this season.
