Mark Bowen has revitalised Reading since he took over in October. The Welshman has guided them to 15th and away from any threat of relegation.

Last weekend, the Royals beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 at Hillsborough in what was a comfortable victory for Bowen's side.

On Saturday, Reading take on second-placed Leeds United at Elland Road, which may be a tougher clash.

Bringing back Jordan Obita

Obita has been a standout player for the Royals since coming back from injury. All eyes have been on him to see if he can still compete at this level as yhe left-back was out for nearly two years with a knee problem but is now back to full fitness.

He missed the game with the Owls last weekend but is set to be in with a chance of making the fixture at Leeds. If he does, then it is still not a certainty he will play. Omar Richards performed very well at Hillsborough and doesn't deserve to be dropped. It's an interesting decision that Bowen has to make.

Starting Pele

The midfielder has been in brilliant form since signing for the Royals from AS Monaco on a season-long loan. He has grown in his game, but last week he missed the victory over Sheffield Wednesday because of a knock he picked up in training.

Bowen has revealed that he's in contention for the fixture at Elland Road and could start meaning that the Royals would need to drop someone from the starting XI. Andy Rinomhota performed exceptionally last week, so it could well be youngster Michael Olise who drops to the bench against a strong Leeds side.
