2 quick-fire loan deals Norwich City should tie up this week

Published

on

If Norwich City manager Alex Neil, who has received backing from the board at Carrow Road, is going to strengthen his squad this month to revive the Canaries’ promotion hopes then it will probably have to be arrivals on loan.

They currently sit 11th in the Sky Bet Championship table despite a promising start to the campaign, and their fault has prominently been at the back.

Sebastien Bassong has come under huge criticism and was deservedly dropped, eventually.

Norwich are also lacking in the left-back position with Martin Olsson likely to depart for Swansea City, Harry Toffolo is currently on loan at League One high-flyers Scunthorpe United and the only other option is Robbie Brady, who has been converted to an attacking wide-man and he’s also been rumoured with a move away from East Anglia.

So if Alex Neil needs reinforcements in defence then it’ll have to be on loan deals, and preferably this week.

Here are two quick-fire loan deals Norwich City should tie up this week prior to their weekend encounter at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers…..
