With the world of football being put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic, many Birmingham City fans will be using this lull to assess how far their team has come this term under Pep Clotet.

With the Spaniard having assumed the role of manager last summer, the Blues have gradually improved as the season has progressed, with various players coming more to the fore at St Andrew's over the past few months.

A long unbeaten run has been the highlight of the new year so far, with the Midlands based club having gone from mid-table also-runs to potential dark horses for a play-off place after their endeavours saw them close to within nine points of the top six with just under ten games left to play.

Given the current circumstances, many of the Blues faithful are bound to have questions over what the future holds for their club over the next few months.

Here, we take a look at TWO questions that most Birmingham City fans will be asking themselves right now....

Will Bellingham stay or go?

With the rumour mill continuing to swirl over the future of Jude Bellingham at St Andrew's, many Birmingham City fans will be keen to find out whether their young starlet is going to stay at the club or not next term.

After performing brilliantly in what has been a sensational breakout season for the youngster, a host of Europe's top clubs are said to be in the race to secure the teenager's signature.

After speculation over the player's long term future was upped a notch in more recent times, it now appears increasingly likely that his playing days in the Midlands may well be numbered after Manchester United reportedly moved into poll position.

Many a Blues fan will be hoping that the club can now garner a fee for their young talent which reflects his true value in what is a traditionally inflated current transfer market if the player does indeed leave as expected this summer.

Will they get Hogan permanently?

The striker has been in red hot form since making his controversial move across the city from arch rivals Aston Villa back in January, with the former Brentford frontman having already found the net on seven occasions for the Blues.

Following his purple patch in front of goal, many a Blues supporter will no doubt be asking if the club will pursue a permanent deal for the player or not this summer, with Hogan's future at Villa seemingly shrouded in doubt.

The 27-yea-old frontman only has one year remaining on his current contract at Villa Park, meaning that the Premier League club could well be keen on cashing in on the striker this summer if the deal is right for them.

As for the player himself, given the start he has made to life at St Andrew's, it would surely be a no brainier for the ex-Rochdale man to stay put as he enters the prime years of his career.
