With the world of football being put on hold, many Bristol Rovers fans will be using this break in play to assess how their season has gone this term.

Ben Garner assumed the role of manager in late December after Graham Coughlan's switch to Mansfield Town, but it is safe to say things have not gone to plan for him.

After a run of just one win in 17 games, pressure was starting to build on the Gas boss, who has tried to implement a more possession-based philosophy at the club.

However, the tables turned in their last game, as they dispatched promotion-chasing Sunderland with relative ease, winning 2-0 at the Memorial Stadium on March 10.

That has meant that the postponement has come at a bad time, considering the side were looking to build on that result.

Given the current circumstances, many of the Gas faithful are bound to have questions over what the future holds for their club over the next few months.

Here, we take a look at TWO questions Bristol Rovers fans will be asking themselves right now...

Will Jonson Clarke-Harris stay or go?

The Gas' key man has been linked with a move away from the club since the start of the season, and there is no doubt that rumours will continue to swirl. Gasheads will be keen to find out whether Clarke-Harris is going to stay or not.

The forward has scored 27 goals in total for the Gas during his time at the club, including 16 this season in all competitions.

Middlesbrough were one of a handful of sides that have shown interest in Clarke-Harris this term.

It is not known when his contract expires as the club do not reveal details, but the fact that a new deal was offered to the 25-year-old this season suggests that his current one does not have long to run.

It has been reported by the Bristol Post that the Gas defender is being monitored by two Premier League clubs as they plan on making a move for the 21-year-old in the summer.

Southampton and Bournemouth are the two clubs that have shown interest, with both sides reportedly sending scouts to watch the

The centre-back, who came through the Rovers academy, has been one of the side's shining lights this season, making a total of 43 appearances in all competitions.

A move to the top flight may be difficult to turn down, but it may prompt the club into offering him a new and improved deal as he will be difficult to replace.
