Queens Park Rangers take on Millwall this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship as an early London derby plays out at the Kiyan Prince Foundation stadium.

The Hoops will be looking to kick off their campaign on a winning note, with many tipping them as potential play-off contenders this year.

Indeed, after finishing last campaign strongly following a number of impressive loan deals, they've managed to keep those players and get them onto permanent footings with the club, as well as adding some further new faces.

Certainly, the squad is looking strong at the moment and they'll be eager to get going, with Mark Warburton facing some early big selection calls this weekend.

Here, we look at two of them in more detail...

Who are the midfield two?

There can be few doubts that Stefan Johansen is going to be a regular this season but will he start this weekend against Millwall? That is another question.

He's only recently sealed his return to QPR and so hasn't had much pre-season at least with them - he obviously would have been working with Fulham.

Warburton will want to see how ready he is this week and if he doesn't play the likes of Andre Dozzell and Dom Ball get a chance to stake their claim, especially with Sam Field out injured.

A forward two or extra man in midfield?

We've seen Mark Warburton switching between two men up top and two attacking midfielders in behind one striker, both last season and in pre-season this summer.

It's another call he needs to make this weekend against Millwall - will he go with Lyndon Dykes and Charlie Austin up front with someone like Ilias Chair in behind, or will he bring in Chris Willock and perhaps start Dykes on the bench?

Warburton will make this call based, obviously, on how best he feels he can hurt Millwall.
