QPR shared the points with Middlesbrough last weekend at Loftus Road as the visitors came from behind to earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw with the Hoops.

Britt Assombalonga opened the scoring on 23 minutes, only for QPR striker Nakhi Wells to reply moments later with the equaliser for Mark Warburton's side.

QPR then scored their second just before half time as Jonny Howson found his own net, but Assombalonga socred his second of the match 20 minutes from time to earn a point for his side.

Warburton will be disappointed that his side were unable to hold out for all three points as the result left them without a win in four matches.

Despite a poor run of form in recent matches, QPR are still only four points from the play offs so Warburton will be hoping his side return after the international break ready to progress into the top six.

Here are two players that need to prove themselves over the international break.

Ilias Chair

Belgian attacking midfielder Ilias Chair has featured heavily under Mark Warburton this season making 12 starts and three substitute appearances for the Hoops.

Despite glimpses of his best form in Saturday's fixture against Middlesbrough where he contributed with an assist, his form of late has been poor.

The 22 year old has been unable to make an impact of late and he has only attempted 14 dribbles past opponents all season and only had two assists in 15 appearances prior to Saturday's setup but he still has no goals to his name this season.

Chair is known for his passing ability and has made 21 key passes this season but his consistency will need to improve if he is to cement his spot in the starting lineup at QPR after the international break.

Geoff Cameron

American defender, Geoff Cameron, returned to the team for this weekend's draw with Middlesbrough despite not featuring in the previous fixture against Leeds.

Cameron has made 12 appearances for QPR this season, proving his ability to play as a utility squad player having featured at centre back, defensive midfield and central midfield.

However, the fact that Cameron has been in and out of the squad means he has struggled for form of late and has been unable to put together a consistent run of matches.

Cameron has provided one assist for QPR this season, but his passing percentage of 75% is one of the worst in the squad while he has also averaged at least one unsuccessful touch per game.

The international break may give Cameron a chance to push for a regular place in the team, especially after starting recently following a host of injuries at QPR.
