Sheffield Wednesday face an interesting January transfer window with Premier League side Wolves reportedly chasing their star man, Adam Reach.

Reach has been in sincilating form this season, scoring on four occasions and has played a vital part in his side's rise up the table this season.

Despite their disappointing performance against Middlesbrough in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Friday evening, Reach still managed to get himself on the scoresheet with a fierce volley late on to halve the deficit, but it wasn't enough as the Owls fell to defeat which saw them drop to 11th in the table.

Reach has been at Sheffield Wednesday August 2016, where arrived from Middlesbrough for a hefty price tag, and he is certainly justifying that price tag this season.

But what could a potential move to Wolves mean for Reach and Sheffield Wednesday?

We look at the positives and negatives for a potential move to the Premier League side.

Find out what they are here....

There's no debating that Reach could be tempted to move to Wolves who are playing a higher standard of football this season.

If Reach is wanting to further his career at the age of 25, then a move to Wolves could be an excellent move, and one that he would hope to build on for the rest of his playing career with many more years ahead of him.

If Sheffield Wednesday were to sell Reach, then they could command a high fee for the in-form winger.

The former Middlesbrough man would provide the Owls with a considerable amount of money that could be invested in other areas of the squad, as well as giving them the funds to find a replacement for him in the January transfer window.

There is no denying that Wolves already have a considerable amount of strong attacking options in their side this year.

The likes of new signing Adama Traore are struggling to get in the starting XI and that just shows how fiercely competition for places is at Wolves.

Reach wouldn't be getting anywhere near the same amount of game time he is currently getting at Sheffield Wednesday so he will have to consider playing time as a factor for potentially rejecting a move to the Premier League side.

Reach has been Sheffield Wednesday's star player this season and if he was to move to Wolves, then it would seriously dent their promotion hopes this season.

With Jos Luhukay's side just two points adrift of a play-off spot, he will be keen to keep hold of Reach so that he can aid their promotion bid this season.
