Sheffield Wednesday have parted company with Jack Hunt this week, with the right-back linking up with Bristol City ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
After short speculation, Hunt has agreed a three-year deal with Bristol City, ending a three-year association with Sheffield Wednesday.
The 27-year-old’s first two years at Hillsborough were successful, with Sheffield Wednesday challenging for promotion back to the Premier League.
Carlos Carvalhal, with Hunt a regular in his side, led the Owls to back-to-back play-off appearances, but was unable to help Wednesday over the line in their quest to secure a Premier League return.
Last season was a disappointing campaign, with Hunt departing off the back of a mid-table finish.
The reaction to Hunt’s departure from Hillsborough was mixed, with some disappointed, but others seeing the logic behind the move.
