Sky Bet Championship outfit Nottingham Forest left the last bits of their deadline day business right until the death, with deals to sign attacking players Zach Clough and Ross McCormack officially unveiled well beyond the 11pm deadline.
Forest had been linked with various players throughout the deadline day bonanza and although the club secured five new players during January, the best were saved until last with the acquisitions of Clough and McCormack.
The signing of 21-year-old Clough raised the most eyebrows with the Reds parting with a fee in the region of £3 million to secure the services of the youngster, who leaves Bolton after propelling them into contention for promotion from League One.
Clough comes with bags of potential and the Forest faithful are undoubtedly relishing the talented attacker showcasing his skills down at the City Ground.
