Leeds United are having an absolutely brilliant season so far, and will be looking to add more to their squad to get them over the line for promotion.

The club appointed Garry Monk as their new manager over the summer and it's been nothing short of a masterstroke, with the club performing as well as they ever had under Massimo Cellino's leadership as owner.

They've been linked with a number of top grade players as it appears certain they'll add some talent after bringing in Pablo Hernandez on a permanent basis this week.

One of the players that's been linked with a switch is Sergi Canos who joined Norwich City from Liverpool over the summer, after a very impressive loan spell with Brentford the year before.

However, his move to Norwich hasn't really worked out and he's struggled for first team appearances with the Canaries which means a move away could be likely.

Here are TWO pros and TWO Cons to Leeds United signing Sergi Canos......

Pro: He's a technically gifted player

With his time at Brentford, Sergi Canos as proven that he's an extremely good player at this level, leading to quite a tussle to bring him in over the summer between Norwich, Reading and Brentford.

With just three appearances at Norwich, it's clear things haven't gone his way at the club and may want to try his luck elsewhere, possibly Leeds United.

He notched seven goals and four assists whilst at Griffin Park, exemplifying that he does have end product to his game.

Con: Price tag

The troubling with targeting a good player who is likely to leave is that there's probably going to be a bit of competition for him, and this is and certainly will continue to be the case with Canos.

Norwich City have placed a £3 million price tag for the player, with the club looking at the possibility of bringing him in on loan.

This stumbling block may see them lose out in the race for the former Barcelona player.

Pro: Lot's of potential

Norwich fans are understandably unhappy with the fact that Canos has been given so little a chance by the club as the 19-year-old clearly has bags of potential.

You've got to be pretty good to make it at La Masia with the Barcelona academy, so there's little doubt that he comes with the potential to become an absolute star.

It would be a smart investment for Leeds to take on Canos, who would be a super option for them out wide.

Con: Would he get in the team?

Leeds have plenty of options out wide and have a pretty well cemented team, in that Monk generally knows who is starting eleven is with very little changes generally made.

Hadi Sacko generally takes the place of right winger and has been really impressive for the club so far this season whilst on loan from Sporting.

His quick and explosive performances down the right could make it difficult for Canos to get into the team, meaning he may not fancy a move to sit on the bench again.
