Following an exciting start to the Championship season, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in making a move for highly-rated Blackburn playmaker Bradley Dack.

The Greenwich-born midfielder has scored eight goals in ten matches this season in all competitions, as well as providing numerous assists for team mates.

He cost Tony Mowbray's side a cut price £750,000 from Gillingham, an investment which is set to yield a huge return as he continues to develop. Leicester City targeted a potential £10m move in the summer, but by the time deadline day arrived West Brom had upped the valuation to £15m.

Now the Premier League big boys are showing an interest and that will only inflate the price further, Spurs were interested in £25m Jack Grealish over the summer but that didn't materialise. Could the same price be attached to Dack?

Would Dack be a success at Spurs? Here's two pros and two cons to a move.

Location is surely a big factor in a footballer's mind. Dack is a London boy, born in Greenwich and playing his youth football at Charlton Athletic.

He would surely relish a move to Spurs over the likes of West Brom and Leicester, not only for the size of the club but also he'd be able to go home.

At Gillingham he was a big fish in a little pond and at Blackburn he's still the main man. A move to Spurs would see him become 'just another' player.

Could he handle that?

The competition for places is harsh and perhaps a switch to Leicester, where first team football would come more easily, would be better.

There's his England chances to think of.

A move to Spurs would put him bang in front of Gareth Southgate, whenever the England boss watched the likes of Trippier, Kane and Alli, he'd see Dack.

That sort of exposure would surely bring an England call up.

Dack is unproven in the top flight, whereas Grealish is not. If there's a choice between the two, would Spurs be better spending their money on a player who has already played at the top level?

After all, Dack has proven himself against Fleetwood and Hull, but Manchester United and Arsenal is a different prospect altogether.
