Nottingham Forest are currently well in the race for promotion to the Premier League this term after becoming one of the best sides in the Championship over the past few months under Sabri Lamouchi.

The Frenchman has employed a style of play that creates plenty of chances for his frontline, with Lewis Grabban reaping the rewards of this up top.

Aside from his strike force, Lamouchi is also blessed with a wealth of creative talent within his ranks, including Joe Lolley, Sammy Ameobi and Tiago Silva, with all three players capable of playing that defence-splitting ball that can make all the difference in closely fought matches.

However with sustained success, comes the possibility of players potentially leaving the club this summer, with some names having already been linked with departures from the City Ground in recent months.

Here, we take a look at TWO potential Nottingham Forest transfer scenarios we could see play out this summer....

Interest grows in Matty Cash

The Forest academy graduate reportedly came close to making a move to the San Siro club back in January, with the Italian giants said to have made their interest in the fullback known.

Ultimately Cash remained with Forest and will no doubt be seeking to continue his strong showings this term as they look to secure their objective of promotion come the end of the campaign.

A versatile player, the 22-year-old has proven to be a shrewd pick at right back this term, with his swashbuckling displays down the flank giving balance and support in equal measure for Forest in attacking and defensive situations.

If Cash continues to perform well for his boyhood club, it wouldn't be at all surprising to see Milan come calling for the player once again this summer.

Joe Worrall in-demand

The commanding young centre half has put in some shrewd showings for the Reds this term and as a result the 23-year-old is said to have caught the eye of Premier League giants Arsenal.

After returning from a loan spell at Glasgow Rangers, the ball-playing defender has really nailed down a starting spot at the City Ground this term, with his no nonsense style earning plaudits from many a pundit and fan.

Hi ability in possession of the ball certainly make him an attractive option for Arsenal who will no doubt be keen to bring in a younger calibre of defender this summer as they look to build for the future.

Forest are unlikely to be open to selling one of their key men unless it is for a significant fee, so therefore the Gunners will have to come up with a substantial bid to lure away Worrall from the Midlands based club this summer.
