Sheffield United had a successful window in hindsight over the summer, as their additions all appear to have hit the ground running.

Oliver Norwood has established himself as the main man in midfield, while John Egan has settled in comfortably to centre half in front of new stopper Dean Henderson, who is quickly becoming a fans favourite.

The Blades sit third in the Championship at the moment and look every bit as good as last season, with four wins on the bounce showing their credentials.

However, it is a long season, and there is a feeling among many supporters that more might be needed over the course of the campaign to ensure no late season blip halts the Blades' progress just like last time out.

With that in mind, we at FLW had a think about who the club could look to sign come the winter window.

Here's TWO potential January signings Sheffield United could make...

Sulley Kaikai

The pacey Crystal Palace man is unlikely to get many minutes under his belt in the Premier League, and following a loan spell in League One with Charlton last term, could be keen to test himself in the Championship.

Kaikai would bring pace, directness, and an eye for goal to a Blades side which some would argue lacks that genuine threat of speed in wide areas.

Jonjoe Kenny

The Everton defender was a key figure last term when he filled the void left from numerous injuries to the Toffees squad.

However, following a summer of heavy investment once again, Kenny will no doubt find his first team chances cut short this time around.

Versatile, good in the tackle and excellent all round defender, Kenny would be a shrewd addition for the Blades come January, providing defensive cover in Wilder's 3-5-2 formation.
