Wolves have enjoyed a fine start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo and are well placed to secure a return to the Premier League this season.

Santo's men boast a seven point lead over third place and have played some terrific football, with many observers predicting that winning the league will be a formality.

However, the Portuguese boss won't let his side get complacent and after a big summer spending spree, Wolves could show off their financial strength again in January to ensure that they have enough to last the distance.

Whilst a big-money forward is likely to arrive, Santo may also be happy to see a few players leave with Ben Marshall one man who has been heavily linked with a move away from Molineux.

The midfielder has found game time hard to come by with just six league appearances to his name all season. As well as that, Marshall has been unable to make the bench for the last three games.

And, here will look at two more players who could depart Wolves in the upcoming window along with the ex-Blackburn man...

Michal Zyro

Unfortunately for Michal Zyro he isn't going to get a game at Wolves now. The talented forward was the victim of an awful tackle by Antony Kay, who was then at MK Dons, and suffered multiple ligament damage.

That was back in April 2016 and whilst Zyro featured in the pre-season tour this season he just isn't good enough now to get a look in with the calibre of players Santo has to choose from.

So, given that the Polish international is sure to be desperate to get back out on the pitch and playing regularly following his injury, a move is the only answer.

Connor Ronan

Don't worry Wolves fans, we only mean on loan! Ronan is extremely highly regarded by everyone connected with the club and has already featured atsenior level.

However, he hasn't made the match day squad for a league game since September, so it's fair to say he isn't in immediate thinking of Santo.

At 19-years old, the Irish youngster may benefit more from going out and playing regular football and there would certainly be many sides in League One that would jump at the chance of bringing Ronan in. Perhaps the lower end of the Championship too.

It has to something that Wolves consider and they may see the benefits of that in the years to come.
