Leeds United won't want anybody to be leaving in the first few weeks of 2019, after all their injury ravaged squad has been through enough without suffering any further losses.

The recent transfer of Samu Saiz has surprised many fans and they'll be looking at the threadbare squad with apprehension, not hope. The transfer news fans will want to hear is around players coming in, not those who are on their way.

Marcelo Bielsa is likely to dip into the market, but anything his does do will be considered and careful. There will be no high-risk purchases, nothing too outlandish and if he feels a youngster within the squad can fill a role, he won't fill it at all.

There's likely to be a keeper coming in, almost certainly cover in the defence and perhaps in midfield too. What of those not involved in the first team squad though? Which players do we expect to be leaving this winter?

Cibicki has been on loan with Molde in Norway for the first half of the season, but as they've just lost their manager and he's due back it might be that there's no extension put in place.

He's raised his profile whilst over there and would appear to be more saleable than ever. It would make sense for Bielsa to cash in now and reinvest any return he gets from the 24-year old.

Leeds have shown they're not adverse to getting young players out on loan and surely Dalby fits the profile of a player wanting a boost to his career.

Mallik Wilkes has done himself the world of good at Doncaster but he's due back in January. it's likely Bielsa will look to get similar experience into some of his other Under 23 players, starting with Dalby.
