After a difficult last six weeks, Charlton Athletic will have been hoping that the January transfer window could help them kick-start their promotion push.

A wave of new signings arrived after Thomas Sandgaard's takeover in the summer and Lee Bowyer has also added a bit more quality to his squad this month through the additions of Ronnie Schwarz and Liam Millar.

At the moment, it seems as though departures may be more of a concern, however, and with that in mind, here are two players we could see leave the Addicks by the end of the month...

Alfie Doughty

It appears to be just a matter of time before the academy graduate departs.

The 21-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has been a man in demand this month, with Championship trio Bournemouth, QPR, and Stoke City all touted with an interest, while Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers have also been linked.

The latest reports have indicated that the three English second-tier clubs have agreed a deal with the Addicks for Doughty, with a loan back to the Valley for the rest of the season part of the move.

It seems all just a matter of where the versatile left-sided player will move this month, with Bowyer telling South London Press' Louis Mendez that the decision will be up to Doughty.

According to Football Insider, however, Stoke have agreed personal terms with the 21-year-old and are closing in on a deal.

Omar Bogle

The forward has struggled to make much of an impact at the Valley and with just six months left on his current deal, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he left this month.

Earlier in the January window, Sports World Ghana reported that MLS side New York Red Bulls are interested in the 28-year-old and that a move across the Atlantic is likely.

The arrivals of Schwarz and Millar mean that Bowyer is stocked in the final third and Bogle already looks likely to leave as a free agent in the summer so they may shift him sooner to get him off the wage book if there is indeed interest.
