Nottingham Forest have been very impressive this term, with Sabri Lamouchi really getting his teeth into the job since coming in as the club's new manager as he looks to achieve their long term goal of Premier League promotion this season.

The Frenchman worked hard in the transfer window over the summer to bring in no less than 12 new additions to supplement his existing squad, with the likes of Brice Samba, Sammy Ameobi and Tiago Silva coming through the door at the City Ground.

These new signings along with the main core of his team has allowed Lamouchi to develop a style of play which largely focuses on creating chances through the use of deliveries from wide positions and taking shots at every opportunity.

The Forest boss has also had to contend with managing a squad which is well stocked with talent, thus meaning he will once again have to assess his personnel come the summer.

Here, we take a look at TWO players that Nottingham Forest should keep but loan out in the summer....

Tyler Walker

After such a strong season for the striker this term, it would be easy for Forest to cash in on Walker if a substantial bid came in for the forward this summer.

The towering frontman of course caught the eye of Lamouchi whilst on loan at League One Lincoln City during the first half of the current campaign, with the 23-year-old netting an impressive 16 goals in all competitions for the Imps.

Walker was then recalled in January by the Frenchman to add depth up top for Forest, with the young striker repaying his manager's faith recently by scoring against Leeds United.

Given his age and lack of Championship quality, it would be fair to say that Forest are likely to loan the player out again next term, particularly if they gain promotion to the top flight.

Costel Pantilimon

The former Manchester City goalkeeper is still on the books at Forest, with the veteran having been loaned out to Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus by Lamouchi this term.

An experienced head, Pantilimon should ideally be kept on by Forest this summer as a strong back up option for the likes of Samba and Jordan Smith in between the sticks.

Given that the competition for places is so high in that position and the fact that Samba is now the undisputed number one under the Forest boss, another loan spell could beckon for the talented keeper this summer.

Overall it is certainly worth keeping a player that has played semi-regularly in the Premier League, as that kind of experience may be hard to come by for a team like Forest if they get promoted this season.
