Reading will be hoping they can put together a positive run of results at the earliest of opportunities, as they target a top-six finish in the Championship.

The Royals are currently sat sixth in the second-tier standings, after a slight slump in recent results. They'll be looking nervously over their shoulders, with seventh-placed AFC Bournemouth just three points adrift of Reading in the table.

A number of the club's younger players have caught the eye this season, with the likes of Michael Olise and Omar Richards flourishing in the Reading team this term.

However, some players have been out on loan away from the Madejski Stadium this season, as they look to find themselves regular game time elsewhere.

Sam Smith and Jökull Andrésson are just some of the players that are finding minutes at other clubs lower down the Football League pyramid at this moment in time, and will be hoping they can force their way into the first-team picture in the near future.

We take a look at TWO players Reading should look to loan out for the 2021/22 season.

Find out who they are, below...

Coniah Boyce-Clarke

Boyce-Clarke is a highly-rated goalkeeper at Reading, and is regularly playing for the club's under-23s team, despite only being 18.

He has previously been attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, but a move failed to materialise for one reason another, as the young shot-stopper remained at the Madejski Stadium.

Boyce-Clarke is yet to head out on loan yet in his career, but he could certainly benefit from finding regular minutes in senior football away from the Berkshire-based club in future seasons to further his development.

Dejan Tetek

Tetek has broken into the first-team squad in recent months, although his appearances have largely come from the substitutes bench.

He has made six senior appearances in all competitions for Reading this season, and Veljko Paunovic clearly rates the young central midfielder highly, as he's used him in first-team matches already this term.

Tetek is another player that is yet to benefit from a season of consistent game time out on loan though, and it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him departing the Madejski Stadium on a temporary basis next season.
