There's 13 games left in the Championship and for Middlesbrough there's still plenty to play for.

Despite a positive run of results that moved them away from danger in December, the Teessiders have crept back into the relegation battle as the season moves towards the business end.

Six games without a win have seen Middlesbrough move to within six points of the relegation zone, meaning that they could be in for a nervy end to the season.

The likelihood of relegation is low for Jonathan Woodgate's side, however there's still a real possibility of some wholesale changes in the playing squad this summer.

Several players out of contract at the end of the season which means that they could move on, while several others could be sold on to fund a rebuild of Woodgate's first team squad.

Here are two players that should be sold this summer.

Dael Fry

He may be a first team regular under Jonathan Woodgate, but Dael Fry could be a contender to move on this summer.

The centre-back has attracted plenty of interest during the last season - most notably from Premier League side Burnley who were linked with a £15million move.

Should such interest re-emerge this time around, I think the Teessiders will find it hard to reject such an offer with the temptation being that they can use the cash to bolster the first team squad.

Britt Assombalonga

Another player who is a first team regular - Britt Assombalonga is undoubtedly a good striker at this level.

However the frontman has attracted criticism for his lack of all-round contribution - something which doesn't fit in with Jonathan Woodgate's style of play.

Assombalonga is one of the highest earners at the club and so if a suitable offer is received then it's likely that the club could look to move him on.
