It looks set to be a quiet end to the 2019/20 campaign for Derby County, with the Rams looking to spark an unlikely push for the Championship play-offs.
Phillip Cocu has failed to properly get to grips with his side for various reasons this term, and is likely to be judged on his second season in charge of the Rams rather than his first.
With 13 matches left to play, Derby sit nine points off the play-offs and 13 points clear of the relegation zone, with their season threatening to fizzle out if they cannot find any consistency in their game.
It was always going to be a tough ask for Derby and Cocu to replicate the season they had under Frank Lampard last term, similarly, it was always going to be hard to replace the likes of Harry Wilson, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori.
The Rams have been quiet in both transfer windows, which is something that the Dutchman will undoubtedly be looking to change that in seasons to come.

Getting rid of players will prove to be beneficial in bringing new players in, and at this stage of the season, Cocu will need to make decisions on which players he wants to keep going forward.
Here, we take a look at two Derby players who will surely be moved on this summer…
It seems almost inevitable that Anya will be moved on this summer, and you could forgive supporters for forgetting that he’s still on the club’s books to be frank.
The Scottish international hasn’t made an appearance for Derby since their play-off semi-final defeat to Fulham in 2017/18, failing to make a single appearance under both Lampard and Cocu due to injury problems.
Cocu still provides updates on the versatile winger, but it is incredibly likely that he will be let go for nothing in the summer.
His contract at Pride Park runs out at the end of the season, and having made quite literally no impact for Derby in the last two years, it’s very unlikely that his stay will be extended.
Jozefzoon only arrived at Pride Park last summer, arriving with high expectations placed upon his shoulders after impressing for Brentford.
The 28-year-old has made only one appearance for the Rams since the end of October, having fallen completely out of favour under Cocu.
He doesn’t possess enough end product in the final third and is clearly not a player who Cocu likes to work with, and the Dutch winger could well be on his way out in the summer.
Jozefzoon was linked with a move to Schalke earlier on in the season, it would be hard for Derby to not turn a bid down for the wide-man.
