West Brom could face a battle to keep hold of Kieran Gibbs after it emerged that Monaco are keen on signing the left-back this month.

French media outlet Foot Mercato have revealed that the former England international is one of two players interesting boss Thierry Henry in that position and an approach could be made this month.

The Arsenal legend knows Gibbs from his time in North London and is desperate for reinforcements after a tough start to life as a manager.

Monaco are currently battling relegation in the French top-flight, which is why they are expected to be very active in the market this month.

Given the appeal of playing under Henry and the chance to experience a new league and culture, it's fair to say Gibbs may be interested in a move.

And, here we look at TWO players the Baggies should be lining up if they have to replace the 29-year-old...

If Gibbs did depart, he would be a big loss in terms of how he attacks.

Therefore, finding an attacking full-back would have to be the target and Brentford's Henry fits the bill.

The former Walsall man loves to get forward and has real pace and quality on the ball. Injuries have halted his progress but he still has the potential to be a star.

Alternatively, Darren Moore could consider a more short-term option and Knudsen would appeal.

The Danish international is out of contract in six months, and is expected to leave after Ipswich brought in Callum Elder.

He knows the division and is reliable defensively so could be a decent signing.
