2 players Blackburn Rovers should look to loan out for the 2021/22 season

It looks certain to be a busy summer transfer window for Blackburn Rovers.

With 11 players out of contract, and five more only on loan until the end of this season, there will be plenty of players to either re-sign or replace at Ewood Park in just a few months time.

On top of that however, Rovers will also have the job of securing first-team opportunities for some of their younger players for next season through the loan market, in order to help those individuals develop and improve their game.

So with that in mind, we’ve taken a look at two players that Blackburn ought to be considering sending out on loan during the summer transfer window.

Jack Vale

Who player who is already out on loan who could benefit from another temporary spell away from Ewood Park next season, is Jack Vale.

The young attacker joined League One strugglers Rochdale on loan on the final day of the January transfer window, but has so far been restricted to just two substitute appearances for the club due to injury, and it remains to be seen when he will return from that setback.

As a result, it could make sense for Rovers to try and loan Vale out again in the summer, to give him a second chance of benefitting from the experience that he has so far missed out on during his time at Spotland.

Are these 19 facts about Ewood Park true or false?

Connor McBride

Another attacker who Blackburn ought to be considering loaning out for the 2021/22 season, is Connor McBride.

Since joining Rovers from Celtic last summer, the 20-year-old has been in prolific form for Blackburn at Under 23s level, scoring a rather impressive 12 goals and providing four assists in 16 league appearances in that age group.

With that in mind, a loan move for next season could give McBride the chance to prove that he has the potential to make a similar impact at senior level, with perhaps the only question being whether Tony Mowbray may want to give him a chance in his side between now and then, which could earn him a bigger chance at Ewood Park for next season.
