Leeds United will definitely be looking to bring in some new blood during the January window, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to ensure his first season in England is a promotion winning one.

The Whites sit atop the pile in the second tier at the moment and in with their best chance in years of making it back into the Premier League, and many fans at Elland Road are desperate to see their club keep adding more quality and ensure that they do indeed find their way back into the top flight.

Bielsa has admitted that he does not know at the moment if players will arrive, but after admitting that he trusts recruitment supremo Victor Orta to bring in the right players, he will be hopeful of some much needed arrivals.

That comment from Bielsa got us here at FLW thinking about just who the Argentinian might fancy bringing in if he could, and with Orta leading the way, there's every chance Bielsa will get just who he wants.

With that in mind, we've had a look at TWO players Bielsa will be hoping Orta manages to land during the January window...

Kieran Westwood

The goalkeeping situation is not ideal at the moment for Leeds, with only Bailey-Peacock-Farrell a registered and barely experienced pro.

Jamal Blackman's loan spell from Chelsea was cut short through a horror injury, and Leeds simply have to act to ensure their goalkeeping situation is rectified.

Westwood would sort this out, no problem. He might be back in the fold at the Owls, but his future remains unresolved in all honesty, and he'd be a superb and experienced addition to the Leeds squad.

Connor Wickham

The big striker has spent time at Elland Road previously, and with the club needing another addition up top, Wickham could make sense.

The big Palace striker is expected to move on in the January window, and he'd be ideal for Leeds with his height and ability at the top end of the field.

Wickham is a talent, and if he can get fit, get some form, and keep playing games, he'd be a shrewd addition for Leeds in the second half of the campaign.
