Barnsley are currently looking to kick start a new era as they search for a replacement for their now departed manager, Markus Schopp.

The Tykes have so far struggled to recreate the type of form that saw them reach the Sky Bet Championship play-offs last season and the new man at the helm will be inheriting a squad that is short on confidence at present.

Nevertheless, the Yorkshire side still boast some talented individuals and the hope will be that a new manager can galvanise the team and help them to get moving up the league standings once more.

With the winter coming up, there is also a chance for the new man to assess his squad before deciding whether some players need to be dispensed of in order to bring new ones to Oakwell.

Here, we take a look at TWO players that Barnsley may look to sell or loan out in the January transfer window...

George Miller

Sky Bet League Two side Walsall are said to be interested in signing Miller on a permanent deal, as per a recent report by the Express & Star.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Saddlers ever since he made the loan move to the Midlands club at the start of this season.

With seven goals in 10 league games to his name already this term it is obvious why they would want to to hold onto the striker.

The Tykes are well stocked at the top end of the field and could well consider cashing in on the player who is now into the final 12 months of his contract at Oakwell.

Daniel Jinadu

The young goalkeeper is currently behind in the pecking order at Oakwell because of the presence of Brad Collins and Jack Walton and therefore the Tykes could look to loan him out come January.

He was certainly signed with the future in mind by the Yorkshire side, however if they want to develop his game further, he needs to be out playing games somewhere.

There are bound to be both Football League and non league sides that would be interested in a player of Jinadu's talents.

If the opportunity arises, it wouldn't be at all surprising if the teenager left Oakwell on a temporary deal in the new year.
