Nottingham Forest have certainly justified their pre-season promotion credentials with Aitor Karanka guiding his side to 6th place in the Championship table heading into the festive period. 

The Reds have been impressive throughout this years campaign and look like one of the best attacking teams in the Championship this season.

But their promotion charge could soon be derailed by the news that a key man is the subject of speculation linking him away with a move back to the Premier League.

Joe Lolley has been in remarkable form this season and it's no surprise to see him linked with a move to the top-flight, with Watford emerging as one of the frontrunners to secure his signature in January according to the Daily Mail. 

The winger has six goals and six assists to his name this season and played a starring role for Forest in their thrilling 5-5 draw away to Aston Villa.

He scored once and was on hand to provide four assists as the Reds salvaged a point at Villa Park to strengthen their grip on a play-off place.
