Nottingham Forest are without doubt going to be one side wanting to see the season resume as soon as possible as the Reds look to get themselves back into the Premier League after a long stint away.

Many have spoken about Leeds ending their break away from the top flight but Forest's is even longer and getting back into the top flight after some real lows would be a fine way to kick off the decade.

Naturally, then, they'll want the chance to seal at least a play-off place and then go from there, but when they'll be given the opportunity remains to be seen given the season's suspension indefinitely.

Can you get full marks on this Nottingham Forest quiz?

Even so, some good can come out of a period like this with it giving some players the chance to iron out any fitness issues.

Let's take a look at a pair at Forest that fit that bill:

Samba Sow

Sow has become a favourite at Forest already for the way he looks to dominate in midfield but, unfortunately for supporters and for him, he's been hampered by injuries a great deal this season.

He's working back from his latest setback and now has extra time to really try and strengthen the areas where he's suffered issues this year - it's a great opportunity for him and Forest.

Tiago Silva

Silva was already working back to the original April 3rd restart date after needing surgery on appendicitis.

This extra time will be a real opportunity for him, though, to add that extra level of conditioning and strength before full training back at the club resumes.
